From New Prospect to St. Matthias to Holy Trinity Parish in Kewaskum

I woke up at KettleBrook Farm Bed & Breakfast this morning, a much better place than shelter No. 3 to get a good night’s sleeep with plenty of peace and quiet, and I must thank Fr. Peter Mitchell for this.

Today, Fr. Peter, myself and the five college students from Ball State set out after a tasty breakfast around 9 am. Soon the sun peeked through the colorful trees as we got onto the trail. It really started the hike out on the right foot.

Mass at St. Matthias celebrating Blessed John Paul II was fantastic! I was the main celebrant and Fr. Peter preached an inspiring homily about John Paul II and the journey we are on.

I am now happy to be at Holy Trinity Parish in Kewaskum after hiking about 11 or 12 miles. I’m very grateful for all the hospitality shown to me here and at all the other parishes.

Pray with Mary. Walk with Jesus.

P.S. I think the total mileage is going to be closer to 130 miles instead of 120 miles.
