Today I celebrated my 43rd birthday, my 13th anniversary as a deacon, and my 12th anniversary to the priesthood. Took another half day meeting the rest of the pilgrims who were walking at Timmers restaurant. I was happy to treat them to the brunch buffet. This was a beautiful stop next to Big Cedar Lake.
I made the rest of the walk to St. Peters in Slinger where we celebrated Mass with Fr, Luke Stran, vocations director for the Arch-diocese of Milwaukee. Once again the Knights came through with a meal and the parish with Fr. Rick’s leadership there was most hospitable.
We were able to watch the movie “The Way” and talk about our own pilgrimage experiences after.
