Walked 21 1/2 miles to St. James in Cooperstown today. Mass @ the Shrine was a wonderful blessing with the presence of our Bishop, David Ricken. Lunch with the help of people of my parish was also a great blessing.
Fr. Schuster joined us today and walked the whole 21 1/2 miles with myself and 7 seminarians. He also brought a couple prospective seminarians.
It got tough going on Hwy P but at 4pm The Carmel Convent began to ring its bells and encouraged us on to that Holy Ground. We ended up a little late to St. James in Cooperstown but the Knights and their wives were very gracious in receiving us with loving Generosity.
