Day Eight.

Sunday Morning Mass with the St Michael Kewaskum community was delightful – feast of Corpus Christi – Fr. Ed gave an inspiring homily on the Real Presence.

After Mass, we enjoyed sharing our experience with some of the parishioners before starting on our way for the day. Once the fog burned off, the day became sunny and warm. We followed the Ice Age Trail into West Bend where Ellen and Jeff bought us lunch at Culvers.

As we joyfully made our way toward Slinger, the anticipation of being in our own parish kept us moving through the warm, sunny countryside. It was another long day – 19.5 miles, but we were so happy to be home where we were met by many familiar faces and Ann Hayden had another great meal prepared for us. We enjoyed some “chill” time before settling in for the night. Tomorrow we make our final trek toward Holy Hill.

Pray with Mary, Walk with Jesus.
